Sonja de Boer
Sonja is a freelance illustrator and designer, based in Tokyo since 2007. This website contains a selection of recent work.
Included are some contract based assignments, specs, submissions for contests and additional creative explorations.
In 2006 she worked as a print designer for Oilily, the famous children’s clothing brand from The Netherlands.
For the 2007/2008-collection Sonja illustrated several prints including this brooch:

Between 2003 and 2006 Sonja was the fashion/interior editor for Libelle, the largest Dutch women’s weekly magazine.
Among others she created and produced many editorial photo shoots. The pictures below are some of her favorites:

In 2003 Sonja received a B.A. from the Fashion & Design-department at the Amsterdam Fashion Institute (AMFI).
For her graduation Sonja created several multifunctional clothing designs to increase safety and comfort.
Additionally she conceptualized a color- and material forecast for fashion- and interior design.
